Has there been any news on Surface Dial development?

I got a Surface dial a while back thinking it would work great with Onenote and make it much faster to switch between pens and stuff, but it is kind of useless there. All it really does in Onenote is un/redo. As a whole it seems still half baked and I know Microsoft is ran by a bunch of quitter so... it could be dead already for all I know.

If you keep up with the news sections you would have noticed there is a "Surface" event planned for October the 2nd, maybe some news there.

Dan is correct in many ways. There's nothing except a volume and screen brightness knob. There's more to this, though. There's a way to add functions for scrolling. There's also a way to program keyboard functions to the rotating knob for the browsers and apps. I can't find a place to say a few questions. I need identity privacy. (What is crp)
