Having troubles with proxy trick for downloading large 1GB RAM games on your 512MB ? LOOK HERE! :D

Hello guys.

Just thought that I'd write up a quick and short tutorial for people having troubles using the proxy method to download 1GB games which have large XAP size. So here it is.

I have tried this method and it works!

This tutorial is basically just another way to get the proxy trick working.

So here we go!

Requirements:
A WP8 device, a USB cord, Wi-Fi connection, SD Card.

Step 1:
Download the XAP file of the game you want to any location on your computer.

Step 2:
Make sure that an SD Card is inserted in your phone. Then connect your phone to your computer using a USB cord.

Step 3:
Open the 'SD Card' location. Create a new folder called 'Apps'.

Step 4:
Copy the downloaded XAP to the newly created 'Apps' folder.

Step 5:
Disconnect your phone from your PC. Restart your phone.

Step 6:
Open up the 'Store' and wait for a category 'SD Card' to show up. DO NOT TAP ON IT! VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DON"T TAP ON IT!

Step 7:
Once the 'SD Card' category shows up, exit the store.

Step 8:
Go to Settings-->WiFi-->YOUR WIFI CONNECTION and enter the following proxy settings.
Server: 117.135.139.179
Port: 8888
Save and then exit settings.

Step 9:
Open up store again and this time tap on 'SD Card'. It will identify the apps first and then when the list is loaded, do not click 'Install' but return to the Start Screen by pressing the Windows key.

Step 10:
Go to Settings-->WiFi-->YOUR WIFI CONNECTION and disable proxy. Save the settings and then exit settings.

Step 11:
Return to the store, select the apps you want to install, enjoy!

Make sure that you have enough space on your phone to install the particular game before attempting to install it else it will fail to install.

I've installed Temple Run, Monopoly, Real Racing 2 using this method. Except Real Racing 2, the other two work like a charm.

I'm downloading Real Football 2013 now and will post the results once it finishes downloading and after I install it.

Failed to install Sims Freeplay. After switching from proxy to normal and returning to store, I try to install and it asks me for permissions too, but i get error 80390000 again and again.

Hey found out a solution, I downloaded Real Soccer 2013, I was also getting the same error as 80390000 but then I tried again and this time kept the proxy settings on. And it got installed..
