Headphones for Windows

Well, my ear buds died today. The right ear gave out and it's only a matter of time before the left ear does. I have a pair of Kickers CushTalk but they're not appropriate for my every day life. I need a new pair of ear buds. But here's the catch: because of previous ear problems I simply can't put anything in my ears, a mental thing. That means the only kind of ear buds I can use are the Apple style. I had a pair of PS Vita that worked fine, and something like that would be greater.
Is there anything available? Earbuds that give decent quality(with that style you can't expect breathtaking quality), are durable, and possibly have a microphone and integrated controls compatible with Windows?

And in addition to earbuds, are there any good over-ear headphones with integrated controls compatible with Windows that I can get for Kickers price?
