Hello improvement for Mobile??

Just upgraded to Creators Update for my Lumia 950. I am not seeing an improvement for Windows Hello. I still have to hold the phone 6 inches from my face!

If it makes you feel better, my 950XL doesn't even believe I have eyes when I attempt to train it.

And I can't even get within 6 inches of my phone without Cortana making some crack about my mouthwash. [/Rodney Dangerfield]
