Help: downloaded W10 build 10572 to my Lumia 920, can't text/get online/wifi; but calling works

Hi there, I downloaded Windows 10 mobile via insider - which I joined 23 Oct 15 - to my Lumina 920, which came with windows 8 when I got it in 2014 and upgraded to 8.1 when it was officially released.

The upgrade went smoothly over wi-fi; all my data/apps carried over and I can send/receive calls via cellular (AT&T). However, I cannot send or receive texts, get online (even via cellular) and have no access to wi fi. I have rebooted several times (side note: my phone automatically turns back on after I turn it off.)

Of course, I didn't back my phone up and I'm no developer, just impatient for a new phone.

I'm guessing my only recourse is windows recovery tool, which I think is going to lose me everything on my phone (since I didn't back it up and can't now with no WiFi or internet cxn).

Help??

exact same thing happened on my phone yesterday. I wish someone had some suggestions other than using the recovery tool

Have either of you tried the soft reset. It's done by powering down the phone. Once completely off, press the volume down and power button at the same time. Wait until you feel the "second" vibration; usually takes about 10 - 15 seconds. Release the two buttons and let it boot up normally. Let us know if this helped at all. If it does, I would make a backup immediately to cover any further problems. Good Luck.
