Help me connect to my .edu email

I have an L640 and even on my old L635 my windows phone will not connect to my Gmail .edu email account. I need to have access to that email daily and I'm on the go daily so I don't have time to go back for my laptop all the time, and I'm not gonna lug it with me. At this point either I figure out how to use the email or I have to switch back to Android(which I really don't want to do because I really love live tiles they make my life easier) has anyone successfully connected it? How? (the problem is that I sign in and 1. The get human verification doesn't show up so I either can't sign in or 2. I sign in and the loading just goes in a continuous loop and never stops, but if the screen times out and I open it again it will say error

I have the same issue. I actually then started to forward all my gmail mails to outlook. And then later I bought metromail.

I use metromail too, but I tried to add my .edu email in that too and the same thing happened

You better need to contact your email admin for that if that is ur university or work id. Probably certificates issue! Did u try following up with the IT team?
