HELP please ??!! Microsoft lumia 435 will not start only shows sad smiley.

Microsoft lumia 435 restarted my new phone ( its only 1 week old) and now only shows sad smiley.

Ive tried all the buttons presses but nothing works, it wil not switch on only shows the microsft logo and then the smiley.

tried to connect it to my laptop with USB cable but it will not connect to my laptop , it is not being recognised.
any advise on how I can fix this myself and I am not living near any microsoft shops.

Remove any microSD cards inserted and try soft resetting the phone. If it still doesn't work then try using the Lumia Software Recovery tool

In case you are unsure how to do a Soft Reset it is holding the Volume Down + Power buttons until the phone vibrates and reboots (about 10 seconds). It does not cause any loss of data like a Hard Reset, but will clear out system RAM.
