While Red Cross relief efforts are well underway, blocked roads, destroyed infrastructure and downed communication lines are making the response particularly challenging.

The Philippines, a nation of more than 7,000 islands, faces enormous devastation in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan that produced record strength winds along with high storm surges. Approximately 10 million people across 40 provinces have been affected with as many as 600,000 people displaced and the death toll continuing to rise.

You need approval for this and a non profit license and you need to apply for IRS of exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Code, using Form 1023.

There are plenty of scammers out already and I'm sure you don't want to be associated with them, if you just pointing things out cool but you can't make an app.

In the one word, this is not a official app by Red Cross, But it's a nice app with nice feature to help people in Philippine,

this app is only open a page on Internet explore(Red Cross Page[official]) then you can send your Donates .
this app include some image and films on Philippines with some information about ARC.
