Help With wp8.1

I have a nokia lumia 620. a few months ago the digitizer got broken and i replaced it with a generic digitizer from ebay... i am currently on the stock wp8.0 OS but want to upgrade to wp8.1... i have been search the internet for confirmation that my generic digitizer won't stop working lkike it did with the black update, as i had the headache of downgrading... so please can this question be answered definitively; Will the generic digitizer freeze after upgrading to wp8.1, and if so what are my alternatives...

its such a weird thing, I would say any problems you have is fault of the cheapo digitizer you got. I would risk upgrading just for it, but itd be best to get something genuine or at least better quality IMO.

there's no case I've seen like yours, so it can't really be answered definitively, especially since you might be alone in that situation.
