Help !!!

Hi i use a lumia 710 with the tango firmware.
i heard that the tango refresh 8779 is out..
im not able to get the update over zune.
is there any other way i can do it ?
help needed

From what I read about the update. The battery drains too fast and most of the users want an update to fix problems.

OS AND Firmware 8779 is working great on my L900. No change in battery performance.

What exactly are you asking? Have you plugged your phone into a PC running Zune to check for updates? Do you have the 8779 Nokia Firmware, but not the Microsoft OS v8779 labeled Tango? More detail please.

im actually using 8773
i want to have 8779. but when i connect to pc with zune.
zune says my phone is upto date.
so want to know how i can do it?

Can't you do a hard reset. Would that take off the updates?

Nope, sorry. Hard resets don't remove OS and Firmware updates. After a reset you will be at the same version prior to resetting.

Are you sure your carrier has pushed out the 8779 update for your device? Have other 710 users gotten the update? My HTC Surround has not gotten the update, and probably never will.
