Here Maps consumed a very large aount of data in a very short time

Here maps used over 100 MB. I used it for only a very short period of time will riding the bus. I searched for walking directions. Really their is no excuse why it needed that much data. I also have maps for my region stored on the phone.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? I don't have allot of data on my plan and this put me right over the top, costing me overage fees. It's bad enough Rogers is screwing me for data, I really don't need Nokia sucking down data needlessly. Really like my 635 but honestly I don't know if I can trust this app anymore.

I don't know but when using Here maps for driving, the maps are downloaded to the phone. Does Here maps not do the same?
