Hey Cortana on Lumia Icon

Hey everyone, newbie to the forum here with a question. I have a Lumia Icon (929), which is updated to Denim, and don't see anything on here about "Hey Cortana." Supposedly all over the internet, they say that an Icon with Denim should have this feature, but there is no option to turn it on or any mention of it on my phone. Any ideas? Has anyone used it yet, or has it not really been released yet?

It's unlikely that you have Denim. There is a bug that makes the "extras + info" screen say Lumia Denim, but that is incorrect. Go into settings -> about -> "more info" and look at firmware version. If it is 1028.3566.1417.0047 you are still on Lumia Black firmware.

Hmmm.. seeing how Verizon hasn't released the Cyan firmware update to the Nokia Icon yet. Your Icon shouldn't have Denim on it. I have a Icon myself and it is still on Black firmware.

Denim is not released yet for Icon, that screen showing 'Denim' is false alarm.

You're probably never getting Denim either. The Icon is discontinued and Verizon doesn't even seem to be sure about releasing Cyan let alone Denim. If you do get Denim it will probably be the last update you ever get. I left Verizon over this very issue.

Got it. Checked the firmware revision, sure enough it is 1028.3566.1417.0047 . Thanks for all the help! I guess I'll keep waiting to see what happens with the new release, see if it ever comes out for the Icon.
