As far as I know since I updated to gdr3 I personally get better battery life.

I've heard complaints of slight battery drain after updating to gdr3, but I have not noticed it on my 520.

I also should note that I did not do a factory reset at any time either before or after the update either.

It seems about the same to me. I'm not a heavy user, though. The standby is good, losing 1-2%/hr. When I'm talking on the phone, the battery drains fairly quickly, though.

I updated my Lumia 520 yesterday to GDR 3 and till now I didn't notice any change (most probably). The batter draining speed seems the same.

i have seen Some Improvement in Battery life Pre GDR2 i used to Get around 16-17hrs now after GDR 3 i am getting more than 26-27hrs(GDR2 not Comme:smile:nted since i didnt use device much with that Update)
