Hi all: I have a big complaint about Advertisement!!

I have a BIG Complain that I think everybody would agree on what can we do about the advertisement that we keeps get on the webpages we go to our website? How can we delete these advertisements that we don't want to see . I believe everybody is in agreement with this advertisement that is not necessary wheh we whent to read the articles!! Is there going to be some kind of the way that we can delete all the advertisement that we get on the webpages even when we go to MSN or other website that have a lot of advertisement on the right side. How can we get them deleted? A concern. Microsoft user. Christopher Cortise

Advertisements are a way of generating revenue for the host website. They're probably how Facebook generates a lot, if not all or majority, of their revenue. App developers, too, opt to have advertisements displayed in their apps for revenue... in exchange for the time and effort they gave. However, in apps the customer/user is given the option to purchase the app to get rid of the advertisements - still giving the developer revenue. This is also true for webpages - there are webpages that ask the readers to either donate some funds or purchase an ad-free browsing experience, though such webpages may be rare. Even television channels have ads - they've had them almost since the dawn of broadcasting. How does one access ad-free television? Through a subscription.

Depending on the browser, there are ad-blocking extensions available that would attempt to prevent ads from appearing, but even the developers of that extension are asking for a donation in return for their hard work. Unfortunately, I would leave you to search for such ad ons as I won't like cause other readers to deprive certain websites of the revenue the staff or team keeping that website running deserves.

Christopher, is there one ad in particular that is the issue, or are you just talking about the ads in general?

Side note: On the full desktop version of the site there is an 'X' in the sidebar down the right that lets you collapse (hide) it. Very handy.

Coming to this site and ad videos playing right away is a big deal, this needs to stop. This is already the slowest site I come to be cause of the ads. Even on my brand new i7 5820, 16gb ddr4, GTX970 and 480gb SSD this site LAGS because of the ads.

In fact, I have a lower end dual core laptop that we use for the kitchen laptop, I wont even come to this site any more on it because it will crash IE on it because of the lag.

When it comes to ads, this is the worst site I have ever seen, I understand you need to pay the bills but, this is over doing it...Even p0rn sites have less ads...
