Hotmail Accts Compromised

Did anyone else have their hotmail or live email accounts compromised today? My wifes account, which she doesn't send mail from, was mailing out spam links to her whole address book. We sent a warning email from another account and posted a notice on Facebook and have been getting replies back that quite a few others are seeing the same thing from their accounts.

No but about 4 weeks ago that happened to me. Changed my password and that eliminated the problem...for now.

same here... although in my case it was about 3 months ago. changed password and all was good again. warned my company's network support group that it happened to me and a co-worker both around the same time and within an hour of logging in to check our hotmail accounts from out workstations so, likelihood of someone/something bad hiding in the network seemed pretty likely to be the cause.
