How can I activate newly I upgraded Windows 10?

I upgraded my computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. If I try to create new account or personalize the screen it says: You need to activate windows before you can personalize your PC. How can I activate Windows and what phone number I can call for that? (I could not find a straight answer on Microsoft web site.)
