Why? You might as well just buy a new 1020, which is what you will be accomplishing in the long run. The motherboard is the brain of the phone; it is what makes the phone, that phone.

what issue are you having? You can buy a 1020 with a cracked screen. It’s easier to put your LCD assembly onto the other than phone, than it is to put the other motherboard into your phone. You can back up your phone, then restore to the new one.

LCD assembly swap on that phone is pretty easy.
