How can I connect to a printer?

I have tried reinstalling,obtained a new driver,but I still cannot connect my PC to my c60 stylus.I have foollowed all sorts of advice and am getting nowhere.I cannot even get my ink levels.What am I missing

Try a different USB cable, try a different USB port, try a different PC if poss, is this a W10 update? If so, make sure you have the latest W10 chipset and USB drivers installed from your manufacturer, and install the W8.1 drivers if there are no such W10 versions available.

Worst comes to worst, give up and do a clean install. If you updated to W10, face it, you'll have to do a clean install sooner or later anyway.

You have checked your model of printer is compatible with W10, right?

I am assuming a few things here, like W10. If you mention the version of Windows in your post it requires less guess work from people trying to help. Do mention if I have guessed wrong.
