How can I create key shortcuts for Groove music commands (play, pause, reverse)?

Working people are using audio players for other things than music. I'm currently transcribing a lot of interviews for my PhD, and I like Groove for its simplicity and functionality. However, transcribing requires a lot of pausing, reversing etc, and using mouse to click on the button is not convenient. Using keyboard shortcuts (like arrows down, left, right, up) would be most helpful and save me a lot of time. Any suggestions?
