How can I do Windows 10 clean install?

Windows 10 clean install

How can i do a windows 10 clean install.
I have a genuine windows 7 key.

If i upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10 using the upgrade process, will i then get a new key for windows 10?
Or can i use the windows 7 key that i have during an installation of the official ISO Microsoft released?

If you upgrade, it will activate and store your hardware information on Microsoft's activation servers. From then on, you can do a clean install on that same machine and you don't need a key.

Or, you can sip the upgrade and do a clean install using your windows 7 key

Everything I've read suggests that is not possible.
