How can I download Adobe Flash Player for my Nokia Lumia 2520?

Adobe Flash Player for Nokia Lumia 2520

Certain websites such as Flip give error message that Adobe Flash Player upgrade is needed. Flash Player is not available in the Store. Downloaded from Adobe the exe file but system will not allow the installation. Did any user install the program?

Flash Player is built into Internet Explorer 10/11 and is updated through Windows Update. If you are getting an error try changing the compatibility view settings for the site.

That's not exactly true. The functionality of Flash is available in IE through the use of HTML 5, but it's not really Flash. If a webpage supports both Flash and HTML 5, then it should work. But if the page only supports Flash, then it still won't. It's up to the web developer to fix this -- it's not your phones fault.

Flash hasn't been available on non-Android mobile devices since 2011.

He is talking about a Windows RT 8.1 tablet which has full IE 10/11. Which does have Flash built into now.



I have noticed on my desktop that some web pages don't like to run flash unless you add them to the Compatibility view list.
