How can I download Windows 10 on my Lumia 540 in India on my Airtel?

How can i download windows 10 on my lumia 540 in india on airtel!!!!!!!

I have lumia 540 presently running on 8.1 denim version of the OS. I want to upgrade to Windows 10. I want to know whether this upgrade is available in india on Airtel post paid connection.Please help with advice!!!!!!

Hi, the Lumia 540 is eligible for Windows 10 mobile.
You would need to download the 'Upgrade advisor' app and enable the upgrade.
The app will show if your carrier (Airtel) has blocked the update.
Then check for updates through settings > phone update.

Since there is no carrier locking in India Airtel will not block.
But most probably wi-fi will be required for downloading the update.

You will need to download the update over Wi-Fi.

I have updated lumia 540 via wifi with vodafone network...You won't be able to do it over the mobile data...get some dongle and do it via wifi
