Have a Nokia lumia 624 and it come up with sim card error

We really need more details.

Did the card ever work? Is there an error code? When does it error? All the time? Read? Write? Certain functions?

Does it perform well in a card reader attached to a PC? Is it formatted properly? Did you power down before inserting it? Did you eject it properly last time it was removed?

The card reader was replaced not to long ago as ex ripped out ladt one and the phone works on Vodafone sim but will not work with any other sims as we tryed
