How can I get my HTC unfrozen?

Frozen HTC

I have windows 10 on the HTC m8 and the screen has froze. It will dim and the screen will shut off but i cant power down or reset.

Maybe you can restore your M8 with the WP Recovery Tool, the latest version now supports HTC WP devices.

Don't know if you are still having a problem with your phone being frozen (given that this post was on 5/26, I sure hope not), but regardless of operating system, the process for soft reset of HTC windows phone is via the Power Button and Volume Down button at the same time until the phone vibrates. I've had to do that once in awhile with windows 10, but then again, I had to do that with 8.1 too...
