How can I get my mini bluetooth speaker working better?

My mini Bluetooth speaker isint working well

So I got this mini bluetooth speaker as a gift, it was working fine in my windows 10, but yesterday i connected it to my laptop and it was shown as a headphone, idk how did it happen but I can't hear the speaker very well.. I connected it to my phone and it was working fine, any suggestions? I can't seem to find how to change it to a speaker device or install it..

check under sound settings to see what volume has been set for the speaker
