How can I get my Sony laptop wifi to work?

sony laptop wifi doesn't work?

diagnostic show that I need to turn the wifi on but it is on and the software doesn't turn it on

If you're on Windows 10 go to Settings >> Network & Internet >> Wi-Fi >> Set ON. Also check if your laptop has a dedicated Wi-Fi On/Off button (Function keys). Make sure that's turned on as well. If that doesn't work then try reinstalling the Wi-Fi drivers from Sony's or the Wi-Fi card's device manufacturer site.
