How can I move my Windows 10 desktop icons manually?

I want to move windows 10 upgrade desktop icons manually.

Why can't I manually move windows 10 desktop icons? My windows 10 is an upgrade. Thanks.

Right click on an empty area of your desktop. Select "View", then uncheck "auto arrange icons".

The auto arrange icons will cause icons to be sorted and lined up automatically by the OS. If you want to do it manually, then uncheck that item.
