How can I open apps on my surface pro 3?

Apps that I have been using on my surface pro 3, such as the photo app to download photos from my camera, have stopped working. How can I make these work again? Other apps such as Facebook are all no longer working. What can I do? My operating system is currently Windows 8.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling them.

I just saw that your Windows 8. Not 8.1?

There could be a compatibility issue if your running Windows 8. Though I thought the SP3 originally released with 8.1.
