How can I record my own ringtone message ( I want to have my kids speak on the ringtone)

I used to do it so easily on my little old nokia phone but now I have a new fancy lumia 630 and have tried and tried to work out how to do it. rang the helpline yesterday with no success.

You might want to take a look in the app store. There are a lot of ringtone maker and dictaphone apps. For example this one:
