Windows Central Question

I upgraded my Windows 7 computer to a windows 10 but after a month it suddenly shut down and told me that it need to fix some issues but when it was finish. It completely wiped my system of everything files, apps, and even the system itself leaving me with no software. I ran a recovery disk but can't get any internet connection to fix the problem as i have little programming.

When you ran the recovery CD, did it land you back to Windows 7? If you have no internet connection and you cannot join to your local network, then that means that you are missing the network drivers. Finding drivers can be super easy or an all-afternoon task, depending on your PC's manufacturer.

Go to their website on another computer, and search for your PC, by model number, or more preferably by serial number or service tag number. This should give you the specific hardware configuration for your PC. Look for network drivers for the version of Windows that you are running. Download the driver file to a USB drive, and copy that over to your computer and install it. You should now be able to access the internet, and use Windows Update to get your copy of Windows back up to date, as well as install any other drivers that you may be missing.

Please let us know how it goes for you, or if you have any further questions. You can join for free, check out the link here http://forums.windowscentral.com/ask-question/310085-join-windows-central-community.html

Good luck!
