How can I transfer my WhatsApp message history to my new Lumia 930?

I've been using a Lumia 720 for a while and have many WhatsApp messages and groups. I recently got a new Lumia 930. Since it doesn't have a memory card slot, any ideas how can I transfer my WhatsApp message history?

Your groups would be there, but individual chats and history would be gone. Which isn't a big deal in my opinion.

With memory card you can restore the chat, but since 930 doesn't support sd card, so there is no trick to do that....

Whatsapp -> ... -> Settings -> Chat settings -> Backup
I think that way your messages will save to whatsapp server. I may be wrong, tough...

I don't know about whether it will save the backup to WhatsApp server or not, but it will surely saved a copy of backup to the sd card.



May be someone else will confirm this server backup...

WhatsApp only has backups on SD not on server. So you need to transfer the backup from old to new phone if it's possible on Windows Phone.
