How can I upgrade from Windows 8 Enterprise to Windows 8.1 Enterprise

2 months ago, I can't find the Windows 8.1 disc, so I just found the Enterprise Windows 8, 90 Day Trial, but my app developing app said me to upgrade to Windows 8.1. I have way too much files, and some of them like City Car Driving will be lost, and I will have to pay again. I need urgent help with this.

Originally you had a licensed 8.1 install??? Was it Enterprise or some other addition?

Then... Something happened to it 2 months ago? Your 8.1 crashed and could not be recovered?


Here's where it really gets murky for me.

Is the 8.0 Enterprise related? Is this what you upgraded from originally? You say it is a trial... Was it ever activated?


The licensing path is unclear to me. If what you have on your system was ever activated you simply need to do the call in for activation.

If not, then that is another issue. More detail on the timeline would help sort things...
