Windows Central Question

So, I updated my windows phone to windows 10 recently and now have a big problem. When I type how I used to type it wont work, it seems that now I have to drag my finger (I don't know how it's called) to write but to me its very uncortable. How can I deactivate this option and turn it back to normal?

Hi there, so if i'm understanding correctly, you're saying that your phones keyboard isn't detecting your fingers taps on the keys? But it will allow you to use Flow to type? That's a very strange issue to have. Is your touch screen working otherwise?

I'd suggest giving it a soft reset and seeing if that fixes the problem.

Soft Reset
The soft reset is the same thing as pulling your battery (on devices where that is possible). This method will not remove anything at all from your phone and is completely safe to attempt in any problem situation.
You perform the soft reset by having your phone turned on. Then press and hold the volume down + power buttons until your phone vibrates and restarts. Note that you should not touch the device screen during the process (not even when the 'slide down to power off' prompt appears).
