What email service? What email client (app/browser/what)?

Your question is very vague... We really need more details to help fully.

If you don't want to see your email while on vacation, turn off any notifications, log out, do not log back in and just stop looking at it. It's not like your mail from the post office. You stop that delivery when on vacation so no one takes the mail out of the box or sees that it is piling up and realize you aren't home so they can break in... Your email doesn't have the same vacation issues as your physical mail.
