How do I connect my Xbox One to Windows 8.1 homegroup on my laptop?

Connecting Xbox one to Windows 8.1 homegroup

How do I connect my xbox one to my homegroup on my laptop. The homegroup is set up ( done automatically I think?) and I can see the xbox on devices. But I can't actually get access to my files via the xbox. What should I be looking for on the xbox?

The Xbox isn't designed to be a full blown network computer, so it depends on what files you are trying to access.

You can see your pictures via OneDrive, and you can see other media via the media player if the PC is using DNLA.
