how do i delete my contacts from my lumia outlock

i have tried deleted my contacts from my lumia but to no avail....................so i would you to help me out

Don't you just go into your people hub and long press on a contacts name and choose delete?

Or go to outlook.com and login there and then choose the box in the top left and choose people?
