How do I delete old phone number?

My cousin changed his cellphone number and I want to delete his old number and change into his new one.

Do you mean editing your cousin's number in your contacts?

Go to the people app -> find his name and tap on it -> find the pencil button on the bottom to edit and tap it -> change the number -> tap save on the bottom.
