How do I fix the Windows Store?

I just installed Windows 10. I can't download anything on the Windows Store. Anytime I try, it downloads 1 or 2 MB and says that is the total size of the file, then pauses the download again. The full size is around 350 MB, it will say it's downloaded 174 of 174 MB and then stop. Then I will restart the download and it will say it's downloaded 175 of 175 MB and stop again. I know this is a known issue, but all of the suggested fixes from Google are not working.

I would wait a day or two before trying to fix things as that may well break more than it fixes. Store problems typically fix themselves over time.

update the store app first
And if you can check for OS updates, do that too. A major update is coming out today
