Windows Central Question

pictures and photobeam

I have been taking pictures on my husband's Nokia Windows phone. I have gone in to look at my pictures and they are gone. I was looking through his apps and found photobeam. Photobeam is flashing a picture, numerous pictures, but one at a time and THERE ARE ALL MY PICTURES. He says he doesnt know anything about the photobeam and where the pics went. he doesnt care he says.
help? how do i get to see my pics again, get to my pics and most important get them to my email and off the net where anyone and everyone can see them but not me.

I have encountered the same problem and, by experimentation, might have found the solution. The key is to force your camera roll and photo hub to recognize your photos again, which is by moving your photos to a different folder (any folder within your phone) and then returning them to the Camera Roll folder. You can do this either through a file management app or by connecting your phone to your computer.

a) You need a file management app, such as Files. Using that app, navigate to Phone > Photos > Camera Roll. Select all your photos and "Move" them to another folder (you may create a temporary folder anywhere in your phone). When all your photos have been moved, move them back to your Camera Roll folder.

b) In using you computer, the steps are basically the same as in using an file management app... but this process could take more time depending on your USB port version.
