How do I get my music from zune onto my new windows 8.1 phone?

I have too much music through my Zune/Xbox/Groove Music Pass, etc. to sync to my otherwise-wonderful Lumia 1020, so I use Windows Explorer to drag and drop selected music onto my 32gb phone which shows as an external device when connected with a USB cable.
