How do I get OneDrive to sync the desktop of my 2nd computer?

I recently switched from Windows to macOS, and I often drag new files, such as imagery, to the desktop for easy access. However, I can't get OneDrive to sync the content of my iMac's desktop. How do I achieve this? Is OneDrive only capable of recognizing one computer at a time in this way?

Did you install OneDrive on to the Mac as well and sign in to the same MS account that is on your other computer? You have to do that first. Once you have done that you will have OneDrive stored on both your Mac and your other computer and whatever changes you do on either computer will be reflected on both.
