Nokia Treasure Tag (WS-2) Shutter release issue

I have been looking for a remote photo shutter release for my Lumia Icon. I was happy to read 11/20/2014 article on this website that the Treasure tag now has that feature. I purchased one...The tag pairs with the phone perfectly, but I have been unable to find instructions on how to get the WS-2 to act as a shutter release as stated in the article. I have a Lumia Icon with latest Verizon firmware/software. I have downloaded latest Treasure tag and Lumia Selfie apps. The tag works as a locator perfectly..Your experience would be greatly appreciated in resolving this issue.

I have the treasure tag and it only works with Lumia selfie. If I start Lumia selfie than I first see below in the screen a "camera" button. But after a second or so this button changes in a "treasure tag* button. So Lumia selfie is "connected" to the treasure tag. If I now take my treasure tag and push on the big button then the photo is made. So it works for me. I am on cyan and DP.
I hope bye the way that also other photo apps get this function in the future.
You need at least the CYAN update do you have this?

Re: Nokia Treasure Tag (WS-2) Shutter release issue

Once I start "Selfie" I also see the "camera" button, however mine never converts to a "tag". I have validated that the tag is connected within the "treasure tag" app. CYAN is not yet available on the Lumia Icon from Verizon. Can I bootleg CYAN or is this not advisable? The only bad reports I heard was that Verizon apps which is no never mind to me. Thank you for your fast response.

Re: Nokia Treasure Tag (WS-2) Shutter release issue

This is up to you. It is not "bootleg" but using Preview for Developer.
And this is a "legit" thing to do because Microsoft makes it possible.(so not like jailbreaking a iphone or rooting a android)

I have DP (Developer preview) and many other people but I do not use Verizon. (I am from the Netherlands an have a carrier unlocked phone)
I saw below article
http://m.windowscentral.com/verizon-lumia-cyan-update-under-development-delay

So if you do not want to wait on Verizon and have no problems with (maybe not working) Verizon apps than go for the DP. It is an easy process please Bing or Google how to do or if you have a friend who already has Preview for Developer ask him.
