I have been using lumia 730 with windows 8.1. Two weeks ago, I installed the windows upgrade advisor app. Back then, it said that update was available. So i started the upgrade and the phone downloaded the necessary files; however, there was an error message during the installation and the installation could not complete. I repeated the process several times without success. So I decided to do a factory reset of the phone; then i reinstalled the windows upgrade advisor app. Now it says that my phone is (only) eligible for the upgrade but the upgrade is not yet available. It says that they were working with the phone manufactures, etc to make update available for my phone. I tried resetting the phone again but without success. What can I do? Is there anyway to get the upgrade sooner?

Did you buy the phone unlocked? or is it tied to a certain carrier?

@ven07 - The phone is not tied to any carrier. The region and language is set as the US, same as before the reset.

Hey i uninstalled and reinstalled the upgrade advisor app and it worked!!
