i am trying to install windows device recovery tool 3.1.5 in my laptop. But each time i am getting error? what are the requirement for installing recovery tool?

what error are you getting? what OS are you on?
The prerequisites from the site are:

Microsoft Windows 7 or newer.
USB cable to connect your phone to the computer.
Minimum 4 GB free storage space.

You might have to right click and run as admin, or if your system is joined to a domain, a GPO could be blocking it, but without knowing the error, there is nothing that can be suggested. maybe redownload the app:
