How do I prevent my Surface Book 1 touchpad from popping out?

Recently (I don't know how this happened or when), the top right-hand corner of my touchpad pops upward when I push down on the bottom left-hand corner of the touchpad. Is it okay to put glue or some sort of adhesive under the touchpad to keep it from popping out? What else can I do to remedy this? My Surface Book was purchased two years ago, so my warranty is way way expired.

I have the same after dropping mine. It looks to me like it was glued, but I'm not sure. If I don't get an answer, I'll probably buy some adhesive and just do it :|

The advice I found was to NOT glue it. Use double sided tape instead. The other option is to take to MSFT for repairs, which I recommend.
