Sounds like you are talking more about VLC than specifically the Fierce XL. My media library is stored in OneDrive (never have had to refresh a thing). So it may depend upon where you are keeping your media as to how you might refresh it. For example, I've used Google Music on the desktop and there is no refresh that I could see, the only way to refresh the library was to delete everything and have it find it all again (silly but that's in the past now anyway)
