Removing the old Windows 8.x Store from Windows 10
I seem to have a dangling Windows 8.x store icon half-deleted on my system.. anyone else see this?
The Tile shows as:
winstore_1.0.0.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy
I figure this is the old store, now replaced by Windows 10's Store App... but how do we uninstall this hideous icon?
I was looking into PowerShell but it doesn't find it to remove. I found the entry in the Registry but it's not letting me delete it.
Maybe safemode? anyone here ran a script or was able to manually remove this?
Not causing issues, but it's like a pimple staring at you.. you just want to pop it.
Thanks in advance for the help!
