Hello,
Sorry to read that since you installed Windows 10 you have been having performance issues & freezing.
How did you upgrade to Windows 10, from Windows 7 or from Windows 8.1, or directly from a Windows 10 iso with new product id?
Does your PC meet the minimum Windows 10 requirements: Processor:
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
RAM:
1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
Hard disk space:
16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS
Graphics card:
DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
Display:
800x600 Also have you checked that you are running all the latest drivers for the hardware you have installed within your pc, eg: Network card, wireless card, graphic card, sound card. Also scan your disk (C:/ ) for errors / and run integrity check with administration permission sfc/scannow
Ensure that you have a good antivirus program in place and up to date, and scan for any nasties that may be on your pc. For an added security bonus, install and run malwarebytes antimalware (free version), and scan for malware. Remove any unnecessary programs & apps.
Clear browsing history in Internet options or whichever browser you use, then check to see if C:/ drive is fragmented through clicking Analyse. If your C:/ drive is shown to be fragmented, then run defragmenter to Optimise. Finally....reboot PC, and check how it's performance is.
I think you'll find it will be dramatically improved. Let us all know how you get on. Good luck!
