How do I stop Windows 10 from forcing updates

We have a computer running a medical application that need to run 24/7. We cannot have a windows update restarting the computer. How do you disable Windows 10 updates

There is nothing that can run 24x7 without maintenance. You can use Win 10 Pro and define your update time, or use Enterprise version and have control over everything.

Windows 10 is much more aggressive and automatic with its update system for various reasons from giving more control to MS as well as solving the historical issue of average people who don't update their PC's.

Depending on the version installed you'll have varying levels of leeway. I'm not sure if the option is still there in the recent Anniversary update but you may need to delve into the registry, group policy or ask whoever manages the machine to deal with this problem.

I believe Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB exists for such uses. That is something you might want to look into. Otherwise, what xandros said.
