in android mobiles a separate option is available for mobile data. in windows where can we customise that setting

In newer versions of Windows Phone (I forget exactly which version it came with) you can go to Settings>Notifications and assign a Quick Action to the options available in the Notification Centre. One of those options can be "mobile data" - allowing you to toggle cellular data on/off.

You need software version 8.10.14219 for mobile data toggle in action centre.

Choose your quick actions


Select Cellular Data as one of those.

They are all correct assuming you have the right software version...but if not, you can go to Settings ->cellular+SIM...you can toggle there your mobile data..

Building on what Jeff said... Inside Settings > cellular + SIM > SIM settings is a button to tap for edit APN and if your APN is not correct that could be why you are not getting cellular data...

Don't go deep to SIM settings...on that same page (or whatever it's called), there's a toggle for Data Connection....off disables mobile data, otherwise, enabled....

Edit: That was for APN....sorry... you are right...
